Seeking to placate upset fans who are contemplating litigation against them due to the Super Bowl snafu involving temporary seating that wasn't up to code, the NFL has increased its offer to those displaced by the debacle. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told the Associated Press that the NFL has e-mailed the 400 fans affected by the situation to offer them $5,000 or reimbursement for documented expenses, and are willing to pay the higher of the two figures. The league initially offered $2,400, three times the value of the ticket, as well as ticket to a future Super Bowl as well as flight and hotel expenses.

Italian PM indicted in prostitution scandal

His penchant for beautiful young women has cost him his wife, and now may cost Silvio Berlusconi what he cherishes most: power. The 74-year-old Italian premier was ordered Tuesday to stand trial on charges he paid a 17-year-old Moroccan girl for sex, and then used his influence to cover it up – an offense that, if proven, could see him barred permanently from public office. Berlusconi has called the allegations "groundless" and dismissed the case as a "farce," accusing prosecutors of seeking to oust him from power. He did not comment Tuesday, skipping a news conference in Sicily and meeting with his lawyer in Rome.

Unlike Berlusconi's many past legal problems involving business-related charges concerning his Mediaset empire, this time he faces allegations of personal misconduct while serving as the head of government. The trial is set to begin April 6 before a panel of three female judges.

Prosecutors have already relayed more than 700-pages of wiretap conversations describing raucous behavior that would draw censure at most fraternity houses: sex-fueled parties attended by scantily clad women, sometimes dressed as nurses or police officers.

Girl with multiple digits seeks record

A one-year-old Chinese girl has apparently set a new world record for having the most fingers and toes on any living person. Lei Yadi Min has seven toes on each foot and six fingers on each hand for a total of 26 digits. Min is now waiting for official recognition. The current record holders are two children in India, one who is five-years-old and the other is 15. Both have 12 fingers and 13 toes. All of the extra digits are a result of polydactyly, a congenital anomaly that occurs in one in every 500 live births with the extra digits usually non-functional. Although quite a large number, the children still are short of the all-time number of 15 fingers and 16 toes that an anonymous child, also in China, was born with. That child didn't make the record books however because the extra digits were removed shortly after birth by doctors

South Dakota to legalize homicide?

A law under consideration in South Dakota would expand the definition of "justifiable homicide" to include killings that are intended to prevent harm to a fetus--a move that could make it legal to kill doctors who perform abortions. The Republican-backed legislation, House Bill 1171, has passed out of committee on a nine-to-three party-line vote, and is expected to face a floor vote in the state's GOP-dominated House of Representatives soon.

Mrs Casey underwent numerous tests to evaluate her medical and psychological condition, as specified by Illinois law on surrogate births. She fell pregnant after a second course of IVF treatment and gave birth to Finnean after 39 weeks.

Kim Kardashian had some difficulty getting her lady lumps into her Grammy dress according to reports. Kardashian's famous rear was unable to fit into her dress which prompted a fashion emergency. Kardashian was trying to put a Kaufman Franco gown on when she realized her rump wasn't fitting. The sparkly bronze dress was hugging her a bit too tight.

The designers came in and re-did the dress for Kardashian. The dress looks tight, we can only imagine how it would have looked orginally.
