Fitness pioneer dies
Jack LaLanne, who is considered by many to be the founder of the modern fitness movement, died Sunday of complications with pneumonia. He was 96. For more than two decades, he hosted a nationally televised daytime fitness show and he was known for his feats of endurance. LaLanne’s “juicer” infomercials kept him in front of the camera.
